19-20 November, 2013 Association of suppliers for oil and gas “Murmanshelf” organizes the 6th International Conference “Arctic Development: step-by-step” with the support of the Government of the Murmansk region within the II Murmansk International Business Week.

The19 of November, there will be plenary session with following issues to discuss:
• New development vectors of the Murmansk energy system: a strategy in the context of contemporary challenges
• Cooperation between Russian and foreign companies in the development of offshore fields in the Norwegian, Barents, Pechora and Kara Seas
• Development of the industrial base and coastal infrastructure, transport and logistics sector
• Environmental, technological and scientific aspects
• Market development of exports of goods and services, training specialists.

The 20th of November, B2B meetings will be organized for the participants of the conference and a round table on the topic: “Regional energy and energy efficiency: the attraction of investments in the modernization of the technological infrastructure” and a round table discussion on “Environmental aspects of business in the Arctic”.

Traditionally, the conference was attended by more than 200 oil and gas companies, specializing in the exploration, mining and processing of hydrocarbon raw materials, companies supplying the oil and gas industry, research institutions, educational institutions, the legislative and executive authorities.
